SciFi and Fantasy Art: Elsabette

Despite her layers of clothing, the sunlight seemed to cut right to Elsabette’s bones. Venturing out into the middle of day, in the middle of the summer no less! I really must be going crazy, she told herself, but continued on anyway. Once her eyes did adjust to the lack of darkness, she was amazed by how different everything looked in the cold light of the sun.
Elsabette was a character concept that I finally incorportated into Ghosts of the Golden City, under the new name of Linde. Her story is parallel to Malraune's....

This is good! I Reaallyyyyyyyy like the roses.

:-) Marlena Cannon replies: "Thanks! I'm glad I finally got a comment on this one... I like it a lot, too, even though her eyes seem a little off to me 10"

While the eyes are a little uneven, they are very intense. They suit her. Her face makes me think that this is what Lizzie Borden (who gave her parents fourty wacks) looked like. The roses are a nice tough, too.

:-) Marlena Cannon replies: "Thanks! And Edward Gorey is awesome! She might've been a little inspired by Gorey...."

Love the character concept, she looks wise beyond her years.

:-) Marlena Cannon replies: "Yay! That's exactly the idea I was going for, with her intense eyes. Thanks!"

Hey...where is this story? Is it up in the Library? You like vampires, don't you? 2 Me too.

:-) Marlena Cannon replies: "Unfortunately, I've never finished this story. But I might finish it and make it part of my "Hickory Dock" series of short vamp/ghost stories. If you'd like, I could send you what I've written of it so far. ^_^"

Beautifully done... Lovely composition, and the hair is gorgeous.

:-) Marlena Cannon replies: "Thank you! Someday I might finish my story about her, too. >_"

Freaky stare.. she's got a lot of character, that one. Her hands are rather small, though.

:-) Marlena Cannon replies: "Someone finally noticed the hands ;;"
