She's very cool. Great costume and nice design in the ships wheel and all. The ship name is a bit of a mouthfull though

The stylization in this piece is terrific. As is the attention to detail on her outfit, and, well..the outfit in general. She also exudes a certain amount of necessary attitude.

YES!! Luci is TOTALLY The reason I came here today. I SO wanted to see a drawing of her and I LOVE IT!!!!!!! AHHHHHH!!! she's a great character. And I LOVE this drawing--it's exactly how I pictured her (almost--I was missing the stripey pants but still...). ANYHOW, this is a fantastic drawing!!

I found your place in the woods by a comment at my Althea drawing. And I must say I loved clicking trough your gallery. I love your diversity in styles and techniques. Also your work has originality (something - that is quit hard to find in the woods - no offence -) Anyway, I love the way you play with light and colours(I really loved that series in sepia that you did). Here and there you need to study a little bit more human/horsie anatomy, but well, there must be at least one thing to work on isn't it ;o).
This one really caught my eye because I'm doing a comic about ships and captains and such, and she made me think of the main character in my story ^_^ I love the -HEY, what are you looking at!- expression.

This is, by far, my favorite picture of yours. I read your story, and she is exactly as I imagined her. Her facial expression is wonderful and her posture exudes the spunk that she has. Great job!

I was reading through some of earlier comments...don't you love it when people come in and say almost nothing about the drawing itself but pick apart something in the description? Like...the ship's name (which I personally like, thank you very much---and we all know that mine is the only opinion that counts anyway)....ANYhow, that drives me nuts.

Marlena Cannon replies: "Heh heh. That was my friend Nick, just being weird. But I do prefer it when comments are actually related to the artwork. >_< And drooling over Drakken or my vampire lords doesn't count. Anyway, one of these days I need to draw a decent picture of the Infinity! "

I haven't read the book but i stumbled upon this great pic of yours... she kind of resembles the cat-ish lady from Disney's Treasure Planet...??
