I love how this woman is not at all conforming with our modern society's idea of 'beauty'- she's large, and yet as she blazes with this powerful inner fire, she is so beautiful. Flame judges your soul, I guess. I love love love this picture. Min 'Keiiii' Kwon replies: "Thank you, although if you think this lady is large... wait til I start painting real obese people. (And I will, some day! I like all body types)"

I reckon what that Zeri dude meant, was that there was a similarity in the realistic style - on the anatomy for example, which you've done a very good job on... so i think you should take it as a compliment. As for the colouring, composition and overall appearance of the piece, it's all great -Kristy Min 'Keiiii' Kwon replies: "I doubt that's what he meant. Why Lament of Icarus in particular, if he were just talking about the realistic style? There are TONS of other artists who paint realistically. :/ I'm glad you like the picture, though!"
