SciFi and Fantasy Art: Spiral

It took me days to do all that knotwork, but it was worth it. :) This is one of those images that just kinda happened. I didn't plan it. Done with pencil and colored pencil on the knotwork, but I colored the girl in PSP7.

This proves that meditation can give better trips than drugs -- and its not illegal!

Great theme, the meditating seeker in the helix (spiral) of eternity.

That is so awsome! I would have gotten so completely frustrated with myself and chucked it out of a window or something. You have the patience to at least sit through these things. Man I wish. Love the detail!

Wow . . . this has such a feel of peace to it, of meditation that's working. Excellent job on the spirals - all the time it took was worth it - the ones that just happen on thier own are always the best. In stories, too 12

Spiraling downward, yet calm and peaceful. Meditation does that. The spirial is so perfectly done! The knotwork is excellent and accidental/not-planned art is always best. How do you do it????? Love it through and through!

Wonderful - that must have been one hell of a grid you had to set up for that. Have fun at least?

Wow... Lotsa knots... Awesome though. I would say, it looks as though maybe she has one eyes open and the other closed... or perhaps one is slightly larger than the other, just a bit of constructive criticism. ^_^ Her dress looks almost exactly like the one I wear at the Renn. Faire I work at!!! Muchly good.

Wonderful art. This picture shows exactly what the Eternal Energy looks like. And all the Celtic knots and spirals, doesn't that make u think the girl is a Druidess perhaps.
