SciFi and Fantasy Art: Soul of Fire

This is Achi. She and her older 'sisters' Nevi and Varzi are Fire Spirits, or Narma. They often take on a semblence of the human form, as here, but they aren't very accurate as to the details.

This picture started out with prismacolor pencil and black pen, and was majorly edited in photoshop. There is one mistake I noticed too late and was not able to fix- Achi has two left feet! Oops. *looks sheepish*

Er. What an unsettling picture.. her angle makes her look like she's a broken rag doll or something being discarded, her face looks skullish, and the flames look like spikes. Very eery... congratulations, if that was what you were aiming for.It wasn't what I was aiming for, but...it's true she isn't human, and the Narma aren't always that good at replicating human form. I assure you, she's very comfortable.

The colours are very bright and happy. I like her triangular face too, it makes her look really faery-like (please excuse my poor english)Your english is quite could, I only wish I could speak your language at all! I'm planning on taking French in college. Right now I'm stuck with latin. Misera sum...lingua latinae non bene dici. Or something like that.

looks like she's flying a virtical loop and she's at the bottem of it and the thermals from the flaims are giving her lift - i think i've seen sparks in a fire do something like that ... i'm also sort of thinking that any inperfections in the're immatation of human form would be due to the're imperfections of attempting to do so - but don't tell THEM i said that ... ~12*laughs* I always love your comments! What you saw fits what is in my head. Achi is a very joyful demi...and she doesn't notice the details.

She has no nipples! I guess she doesn't take human form very well....a little practice is in order, I see.They don't pay much attention to detail. 2

The 2 left feet thing is normal! As u said, they take human form, but arent good with details.
