SciFi and Fantasy Art: Wolf Sword

This sword was given to Marrik by his father, a very quiet acceptance of Marrik's weyrrwolf nature. One wolf attacks down the blade, its raised (dominant) tail forming a handguard. On the reverse, a wolf cringes and begs up the hilt, it's lowered (submissive) tail forming a quillion whose jagged edges can catch an opponents blade.

Graphite in sketchbook, 5' by 7.5'.

KO so before I was obsessed with 'wibbly swords' (don't ask) but this is much better, if it ever gets made into a real sword don't tell me or you'll never see it again, I love it!!!!!!!I wish I could have it made - unfortunatley it's a fiscal impossiblity. Thanks!

6 Jan 2007	Feyamius	Loading... Awesome pic, but you can fight with it? My idea were making the tail more horizontal that you can use it as cross guard. The knob could be a wolve's head too. But just my ideas, you did a great job anyway.
