SciFi and Fantasy Art: The Wirehead, flying

This is a preview of a art class project. I got an A on it, so I suppose that it's good. ;) The goal for this project was to create an avatar (a personal self-representation) for a networked VR data visualization environment. Or something like that. Anyways, it's made in Maya 2.0 (Very nice software) and it's supposed to represent me. It is a little blocky because I was limited to using under 200 polygons, 3 texture maps, and limited transparency. This is the version that you see when my avatar is flying through data.
