SciFi and Fantasy Art: Scenes from the trailer to 'Shipyard 4'

These are some scenes from the trailer to 'Shipyard 4', which was my project for my ArtGD 332/333 class at UIUC. You can view the whole thing from my homepage. The frames are in chronological order from the trailer, left to right, top downwards. This was all done in Maya and I really didn't have the time I would have liked to have had to really crank up the detail on the models. Look carefully at the woman -- she's the only well-proportioned human being in any of my artwork, so she's kind of special, in an odd sort of way.. ;) Just so you know, Poser was not used -- I modeled my people with splines and bones, nothing else.
