| 8 Jul 2002 | Tony-hart | I love this orc, it is pretty in all but no senses of realism or pointilism. Kerstin E. Lönnberg replies: "I wish some people would at least learn to read the picture titles." | |
| 15 Sep 2002 | Anonymous | She's too fat o.O Otherwise okay... Kerstin E. Lönnberg replies: "The great anonymous cow herd has spoken! All hail the cow herd!" | |

| 23 Sep 2003 | Lauren C. Cason | very very nice, i like your style. now for a little CONSTRUCTIVE critisicm, if you dont like it, well delete it. i just wants to help you become mods chioce material which i can see in this already. ok well the shoulders are a little broad. i must say you have a reat eye for detain and hair and clothing and faces, but the anatomy is your weak spot. if i might suggest getting one of those model thingys at art stores and messing with it a bit. sorry if im not beign all that humble, but i was brought up to point out things so things may be better. well its a lovley picture. may evil ice cream men always pass you by. Kerstin E. Lönnberg replies: "Constructive critisism is always welcome. Thanks!" | |
| 21 Oct 2003 | Sarah Colley | You seem to have a good start with your work. Just a suggestion: increase the shading and highlighting. It is the combination of these two t hings that bring a piece to life. I recommend taking a look at www.portrait-artist.org its a great site for getting the basic techniques of a face down. I also recommend looking at models to practice proportions and shape. Women are normally curves and much more slender then men. Kerstin E. Lönnberg replies: "Thanks for all the suggestions! " | |
| 22 Nov 2003 | Bubbleysecrets | I like the picture overall. I like how you have drawn the eyes and hair but i must say that if you made the shoulders smaller the picture itself would look better because at the moment it looks like the woman has a man figure. I'm not an artist or anything so i don't know that much about art but that's just my opinion. Thanks for reading this. bi. Kerstin E. Lönnberg replies: "Thanks for pointing that out (about the shoulders), I've kept that in mind. I even tried out a new method which involves using male models to draw female figures (I start out by drawing stickmen and then alter the proportions to make them look like stickwomen.)" | |
