SciFi and Fantasy Art: Amazon ready for battle

I actually used a male soldier as model for this one. At first I just drew a stick man to get the pose right, then I edited the stick man's proportions making him a stick woman. After that I just started fleshing out the figure and adding clothing and armour.
Done with pencils and watercolors in 2003.

18 Jan 2004	Emma	Loading... This is very different compared to your other paintings/drawings. I'm guessing that the day when you did this you were in a weird mood. I'm sorry to say this but it looks like you did this painting to release some kind of feeling to make you feel better. It is still a good painting though! Kerstin E. Lönnberg replies: " Frankly I have no idea what you're talking about.This is one the best watercolor pictures I've ever done and I did it for the following reasons:1) There are too many drawings of "bikini amazons".2) I needed to practice anatomy.3) I needed to practice watercolors. "
