SciFi and Fantasy Art: Rabbit girl

The darkness had just fallen as I drove up the hill that evening. My thoughts were on everything else but what I was doing. Then suddenly, the headlights of my car shined upon something small and furry on the road. Of course I hit the brakes as fast I could. I didn't want the little critter to get hurt. As soon as I managed to halt the car I rushed out, but there was no animal out there. At first I thought I had flattened the poor thing under the car... but then I saw her. A skinny girl with fur and rabbit ears on her head. She saw me too and for a moment she just stared and stared at me with a mixture of fear and disbelief. After what seemed like an eternity, without any warning, she just ran off and disappeared into the darkness.

Done in 9th grade.
