SciFi and Fantasy Art: Aliens Vs. Predator

First of all, this was my third attempt with Gouache and also my third attempt with a watercolor-type based medium. LOTS of flaws I know, but for the third picture I ever did with the medium, not bad. I'll be posting the first and second soon when I get scans. Second, this picture is based off the work of another artist. I saw this picture in a AvP DarkHorse comic and thought I'd do it in Gouache. If anyone knows the artists name, I'd gladly post credit. Thirdly, the crease that you see going across the middle is because this particular artwork was part of a flip-fold book that I made myself. As for the content, the unmasked Preadtor is pinned up against a wall by a Warrior Alien. Circa 1991. (editors note: if I ever get a sci-fi gallery up, this picture will move there.)

16 Jan 2007	Marika Viklund	Loading... Really a good picture! I love the predator! He's soo cool! But really, since this is from a comic somewhere, it should be in the FanArt gallery! Other then that is very nice. I think for a third try at watercolour-like paint it's really great! I think it's too much brown tones, but that's just me and has nothing to do with the quality of the picture.
