SciFi and Fantasy Art: Celtic Love Knot

I visited Inis Mor recently and picked up a book on celtic knotwork I’d seen in my local library before. In a way it inspired this picture, that and the fact that I needed to do Anne a Colly/Faylin pic. Anyways I tired to make the two look as if they were kinda intwined together like knotwork. It looked more like it before I colored it, but it’s still kinda cute. Even if they look uncomfortable ^_^

Wow! That's exactly the way I can bend! I can't touch my toes, and I can't do the splits, but I CAN sit in the lotus position and tuck my legs up over my shoulders!

I like this picture, it must have taken ages to make it look plausable.

This is a great idea, human knotwork! Well drawn ... and I love how the blond one looks so terrified. "Oh no ... They've seen us! How do we explain this one?!"

Colly looks like he's trying to figure out which limbs are his. XD

Awww.... soo cute. That's such a sweet idea. And nicely drawn, props to you. I love the way you do hair.. *dreamy-eyed*
lol the one with red hair looks happy and dreamy and the one with blond hair looks a little bit confused and dismayed... lol love it.

Haha, this reminds me of a game we had. It was called Matele Incurcate ( Tangled Guts ) Basically 3 kids or more stood in a circle holding hands, and another went somewhere else. Meanwhile these kids would tangle themselves up, without letting go of their hands, and the other kid had to un-tangle them.

This is actually very cool. I like this piece. It is very orginal and knotworks are hard to do especially since you drawn this in human form. Very nicely done.

Sincerely,
The Elf

Ok, this has nothing to do with this picture. My computer wouldn't let me make a comment on your gallery, so i'm leaving my comment here.

Do you live in ireland? Because that would be so cool. I just live in oregon. Sucks, i know. Anyway. I do irish dance too. I've been doing it for... 6 years? Not sure. Anyway, i'm almost to prelims and love it completely. I play piano also. Done it for... 5 years? Not sure again. I love to draw too, but not really in the same style as you. I can't draw like that without messing it up. You do it great. I love girly boys! Why can't you make a drawing real? Please tell me this. I am, like completely in love with most of your vampires. Have you seen howl's moving castle? Because howl is way hot in that one. Reminds me of your style. I love your work. Keep at it. They all look bloody brilliant! Bye.
~girl that is sir

(i also go by 'the irsh dncerr' sometimes. Just a fact. Nothing more)
