SciFi and Fantasy Art: Hiding

This young man picked a fight he probably shouldn't have and now he is regretting it. But maybe the dragon will forget about him. . . Colored pencil.

Not a very good hyding spot. I am wondering how exactly one can say that water fall is at a 90 degree angle, can you really measure angles from pictures like this? Well I don't think you can. Anyway this picture looks great but I think that rock the dragon is on looks a bit out of place on the waterfall like that. The water just seems to flow right through it.

The rock is not directly on the water, rather it is in midair above the waterfall. 2 Thank you for the comments.

this pic is really good. i like the 3 dimensionality of it. the water seems flat compared to everything else but its a waterfall, and that's darn hard to draw so good job. i can see how you have to kind of look at it the right way to get everything in its proper depth but i don't know how you would make it more obvious. maybe make the dragon bigger? i dunno. bye.
