i think this picture is really cool, it's very serious and it looks like something that would scare someone

Very nice.. I like the little swirls in the cloud (or whatever, cloth?) coming off of his arm. It gives it an oriental feel.. And.. woohoo! First time I've gotten the first comment!

Neat. Reminds me of a horror cartoon I watched in my Japanese class a couple years ago...wish I could remember what it was called...something about a blind monk playing music for ghosts...oh well.

What's the sory behind this picture? or is it just drawn with no real authentic Japanese story?

Nice work; also nice to see oriental influences other than manga/anime. Not that I have anything against those, it's just that they're not my fave styles. And since you site Noh influence, you might find this interesting -- when I saw Spirited Away (perhaps the most awesome animated film ever), a friend seeing it with me had trouble with one of the characters: 'No-Face'. "It HAS a face," she said. To which I replied, "that's not 'NO', it's 'NOH'. Her reply? -- "Oh.....yeah! That Noh."
