| 3 Feb 2003 | Sandra Leigh Wagner | very nice, both in subject and composition. Nice touch with the graffittii. Um, next time though, thin the neck a bit or something. The current placement of throat curve (from chest to chin) sits too far forward and gives the illusion of thick neck and no breast as well as detracting from the face. If you bring the curve back to about where that first lock of hair falls, you'll give ehr a more graceful feel. JMO! The only thing 'off' about this though! More | |
| 5 Apr 2003 | Anonymous | awesome pic. the neck looks just a itty bitty too thick. I love the graffiti anyway and I love the character no matter what. | |
| 1 Jun 2003 | April | I love it. I really like the way you did the wings. I think it may have been a little more emotional had you had her reaching toward the sky with one hand, as if she wanted to get back to heaven. I like her outfit. Dark and modern. I also like the shadowing you did. Kirsten Taylor replies: "There's a reason why she's not reaching up like she wants to go back to heaven. that's because she dosn't. she didn't get kicked out, she chose to leave. Heaven actually wants her back, but she refused to go, and thus had to give up her wings, but she gained something that she feels is even better." | |

| 1 Jan 2005 | Trigun nut #1 | I love the concept. It is beautiful. My name is laura. I have been interested in art since I was a small child. I may not be old but I still consider myself a young adult. i am 13. I have been in art galleries since kindergarden. (i first got into galleries with a painting of a horse... which I still didn't get back.)
N E Ways, enuf about me. I think that this is so beautiful. did you edit anything in this on your computer??? It looks as though you didn't. am i right? I think that the grafiti efffect makes it look.... ummm.... well.... I guess its hard to explain. It gives it a feeling of trouble. not the character itself in this case. in this case it is the setting that has a very troubled feeling. the character seems like she "appeared" in order to make things right... with the city and with herself.
I could be wrong though! lol | |
