SciFi and Fantasy Art: Elaida do Avriny a'Rohan

She has such a hunger to here eyes, that even if you didn't know who she was... you would know that she wanted something... and wanted it NOW

It looks so real!!

Absolutely wonderful...this fits Elaida, in my eyes, anyway, better than any other I've seen.

God, she looks exactly like my German teacher !!!!

looking at it again, wanted to add something. If she had a thought bubble right there, it would say "I'll get you, Siuan! And your little stole too!" Which is NOT a spoiler, just her thought!

It's certainly not how I pictured Elaida, but it's perfectly her! Oooh, I want to throw things at her just by looking at it. VERY intense expression

This is a fantastic picture of Elaida! Good job! The only thing is that according to the image of her I have in my head, this pic makes her look a little too young. I think she's pretty darn old and stuff. And maybe a bit more plump than this pic suggests (well not plump, more "blocky" I guess). Anyway, I did think she was a litle less ugly than some others have made her look, so this is accurate to my imagination in that way. Not much else to add, it's just a great picture! GOod job!

Coolness! Elaida is actually my favourite character of the series (I know I'm a freak!) - not because she's particularly likeable but because I just respect her strength of will and formidability.

Anyway, back to the point - the picture - it's amazing! I just love the intensity in her eyes and the petulance in her mouth. I also appreciated the small details like the smudge of red around her head almost like an aura caused by the strength of her anti-Asha'man, anti-Rand feelings. Also, the six-striped stole and how the red is nearest to her neck - I LOVED that - it's just the sort of petty thing Elaida would do! Yep, brilliant - I do agree that she looks slightly too young though... although she still kind of has the ageless look with those old-looking eyes... so it's not a big problem!

I love it! And Elaida's my fave. character too!
