Some of the proportions on the characters' limbs (especially the arms of the Dark Lady and the Servant in the background) are a bit off. You might want to try practicing some sketches of foreshortened ares and legs-- maybe even without clothing, so you might get an idea of just the shapes underneath. Nonetheless, this is an intriguing drawing-- I wonder what the Lady's veil is hiding?  Lamy claude replies: "Yep the proportion ratio are not very well respected for arms. I've worked on that since I've done this picture, but I haven't reached perfection.Her veil is hidden because nobody is allowed to put his eyes on a such important lady. The servant are hidden because they are no one and entierely devoted to their lady." | |
