i see much promise here. you just need practice. please, do not make the mistake i made and postpone the tougher illustrations, since they are how you learn best. and here's a tip that i had to find out for myself: you are not drawing the OBJECT, just your VIEW of the object. from one angle, you see? i see you are naturally a hard worker (once you start) so just keep at it! great work.

Hey. I'm the same age as you and am also a freshman. I Like to draw fantasy and science fiction. Mabey I could e-mail you and give you some pointers! LOL. Write a comment and tell me you're e-mail. I don't want everyone to know mine. LOL. Later!

Here's a little advice get some "How To Draw Manga" books. They help alot trust me.....they tell you how to draw faces and bodies also hair and eyes. I'm 15 and I have a few of those books and they truely help......^_^ you have great potential you just need a little help...

I like the coloring on your sketches. It give it an older look.

I like your work, but you should find a how-to-draw faces book-your faces could use a little work. Try looking at other people's art for inspiration (not to copy!) or even how other people draw faces. Good luck and keep drawing!

I agree with Prophet. You know you have the eyes down pat when anyone can look at a drawing and the eyes seem to follow no matter what angle you hold the drawing. The eyes are the hardest yet most important part. You have a raw talent that needs just a little experience. I never took art classes yet by the time I was 18 I had everyone wanting me to do pencil portrates of their girl friends, wives etc. Keep it up and it will get only better
