SciFi and Fantasy Art: Swimming Mermaid

Again, drew with a regular pencil and colored in PSP. I was actually looking at a picture for shampoo in a magazine when I drew this *Snicker* I like it though, it isn't very detailed but I think it looks better that way.

Actually it shows great promise. The way you did the hair is great! What I'm trying to say is that you could develop a very distinctive style with simple, uniform splotches of color and the pencil lines to add structure. The hair turned out nice that way, and the shirt and tail as well, though the tail could use a bit of sketchy-ness too ;o) On the anatomical side its just the neck/shoulder area that could be a bit more defined. I like it!!
