SciFi and Fantasy Art: Innocent Witch

A young woman, accused of being a witch, was hung. She truely wasn't a witch, but the jury refused to believe it. Her lover, the prince, held her in his arms afterward, he'd gotten there too late.

To however made that rude comment about this artist needing a new hobby... I think you are far more in need of one if all you have to do is go around insulting others' talent like that. I think this is an excellent picture and I rather like how the artist opted for realistic body forms instead of the traditional willowy wispy body frames.

Very nice, but about the drowning comment...I'm afriad a drowned victim wouldn't look any prettier than a hung one. Take it from a lifeguard, they are very nightmarish looking. as for the picture, a very sad subject, and one that it takes a thoughtful heart to explore properly. Very Good job!

I'm generally against death penalty, but I make a exception to jury members, judges and procecuters who sentence innocents to die. At the same moment she died they forfaited there own lives, punishment for such a crime cannot be reduced to anything milder than death is just so much worse than a normal murder. A really beautiful, emotional picture. This would work well with added areas around them with a until recentlty chearing crowd now silenced with the knowlege of her innocence. And the knowledge that anyone among them responsible will have to pay with ther lives for it. When witchhunting was the order of the day, false witnesses was werry common.

Hmmm... Maybe she could be poisoned or something. Hehe. That wouldn't disfigure her overly much.

This picture realy got me. It's so sad.... Is there ever a "happelly ever after" any more? I guess tragic storries are more powerfull. As for the story behind it, maybe they tried burning her at the stake. The prince gets there, but she has already died because of the smoke. I don't know, I tried. Beutifull picture. Keep up the good work!

Good comp! The body of the girl is also well drawn, but her head should probably hang down a bit more. And I would have drawn the face of the prince sadder, I think.
