I was tired of the traditonal mermaid so I drew a more realistic version losely based on a tiger shark. she put in a realy bad situation here but I promis she wont stay their. done in pencil

I love this look! Hooray for more realism...not your typical Ariel. The fins and gills are great additions, and the webbed tail fluke is cool!

I love the tail and her 'hair'. Why is she tied up? Very cool twist to the typical mermaid. Great shading and the tear was a nice touch.
