I have to say I really respect your work and being the sort of person that I am I could help but read what you wrote to samuel there. I'm so very tired of artists and all sorts of other people putting shading on a silver platter, claiming it to be some pinicle of art. The truth is, it's not. I see too many professional artists out there who sure can shade good, but can they create a style a shape that appeals? Very often not. I place my emphasis on pose and style, and yes, lines. Shading can be a good thing sometime, but it can also be to used to draw attention away from the poor and lacking character design. The fact that people will call something great based on the degree of shading... *gah* this bothers me to no end... Don't listen to them. You'll learn it in the end if you so desire. But art is *SO* much more than that, that I almost consider shading least important thing in art. Too many people have poor line work as is... Any way I think you have a great mind, and a great talent. Forgive my rambling.

Jag kan ju nämna att Malin blev grymt chockad när hon blev informerad om exakt vad jag ritat. Typ, ramla av stolen-förvånad. Blev trackat för att vara en porr-ritare hela terminen sen.. tsk tsk... Anyways, kram!"
