| 20 Jun 2000 | Kim Van Gampelaere | I love the happiness in this work. She really loves to dance. Black paper is indeed hard to scan, but I think it worked quite well. Love the blue-ish color much. Also the stars in the background are a nice touch. | |
| 22 Jun 2000 | Andrea Niles | I love this picture. It shows mystery and yet it shows a feeling of romaticness to it. I wonder if romaticness is a word. Anyways, u did really well, good contrasts with the black and bright colors. It a very nice picture. I hope to see more soon ^_^ | |
| 14 Nov 2000 | Tami | i like is picture alot but the thing that surprised me was when i zoomed in on it i saw that it was a cat and not a person like i expected it to be but i like it any way because it is unique and it is at night. Er...not quite a cat, but a dragon...tells me I need to work on my anthro-dragons, hmm? Thanks for the comment. | |

| 10 Feb 2001 | Alexandra | Making a gross generalzation ie., "all gypies are mean or would rob you blind" is pretty racist.I am sad that someone with obvious artistic abilty has not taken the time to study the reality of illusion of the subject she portrays. The romance of Gypsies (actually Roma or the Rom) moving place to place is based on the fact that they were persecuted and quite often killed if they stayed in place too long. It was not so much a matter of romance and wanderlust as it was survival. As for theft, crime is crime but I have not found theivery a particular cornerstone of one particular race. Just as all caucasions are not Nazis or Ku Klux Klan members all Roma are not theives. For further education pick up any book by Ian Hancock. Who does not speak for me, but does have some interesting history on "Gypsies" that you might find illuminating. Although I would protest at being called a racist, I would agree that I was being rash and grouping a set of highly diverse people into a particular stereotype. However, many gypsies I came across while I travelled through Italy were highly dishonest, and I was merely attempting to break down the "Hunchback of Notre Dame" idea that all gypsies are merely mischevious, but generally harmless, which is a dangerous mindset to approach any group of people with. I was not addressing their past, but merely the form I was presented with when I met them. | |

| 5 Oct 2003 | Alicia | I love the picture its too cute. And not all gypsies are from rome and italy. My grandparents were serbian gypsies, and they are extremely nice and wonderful people | |
