Well, the Lion's legs look a bit...thin...very thin, acually, but other than that, J'adore this picture. Absolutely lovely!

Sorry, Toni, but that is a donkey in a lion suit, the legs are supposed to be thin. It's okay, it's still an awesome picture!! It's so accurate to what i imagined, it's scary! Although i don't think last battle was the best book...it was waaay too depressing...*sniffles* but i love them all the same!! Good work, you deserve at LEAST a mod's choice!

yeah... i didnt like the last battle eather... i kind of got the impression that lewis had a bad attitude towards the calormen... by making them all evil, but one... (wait thats a different book) um... but at the end, all the calormen were still bad guys... if anyone knows what im talking about... dont mind me, i actualy liked the chronicles of narnia, alot. i never read any LOTR... but from what i got out of the movies, i find lewis' style of creating cultures to be more interesting and realistic. all the animals and folk that could talk stayed together and interacted together, to me that makes much more sense than to have all the talking folk isolated... barely ever interacting with each other uless theres a big problem...

OOOOOO! I love the lion in the stars! Didn't notice it at first. The Calormenes, do kind of take the role of bad guys in the books, though I am sure Lewis intended them to be as diverse as the Narnians. (And there were at least two good Calormenes. Don't forget Aravis!)

You are... BRILLIANT. I am so utterly impressed by your portrayal of moments such as this. This moment in The Last Battle especially. I must admit that when I read The Last Battle I had a great deal of trouble visualizing what Puzzle would look like with the lion skin strapped to his back; Your combination of the lions head with Puzzle's own knobby donkey knees is truly striking. I am SO IMPRESSED. You should also know that it takes a lot to impress me, I'm very critical. But you're work is inspiring. Rock on.

Oh...my...gosh. Wow. That's really all I can say...The Last Battle is pretty much my favorite book. And this picture is perfect...exactly how I pictured it...wow...props to you, sir, this is magnificent!2

lol.. i was looking through the this sries of paintings as i was halfway through reading the narnia series for the first time... and i was so confused, wondering how on earth, you, who is so good at painting things, would make such an awkward-looking lion! Well, now i know why! Loads of relief on my part... there's something severly disappointing to see an awesome artist, such as yourself, make a mistake. Well, now that i know the story, I am more impressed with you then I ever was!

Wow. Wow. Thats amazing. Just how I pictured it. Tirian looks really great, and so does Puzzle.
Ooh I just noticed the lion in the stars! I better add another Wow to the list. This is a really good picture, keep it up! 2
