SciFi and Fantasy Art: Relaxing

I painted this picture for my sister some time ago. The dragon should look more like a pet then a monster and I decided to paint him relaxing a little in his cave. I think this picture is pretty funny, so I put it in here. The shadows and highlights were painted lateron with a painting programm, originally I used color pencils and black ink

3 Oct 2003	Wynter	Loading... of COURSE a dragon sleeps on a carpet! have you ever TRIED sleeping on a pile of gold? or even on a bare floor.......its not very comfertable, I can tell you that! so if a dragon happens to add a few rolls of carpet to his hord (along with various books, scrolls, silks, and other valuable things that dragons collect) why shouldnt he make use of it? i know i would! (grin)
