SciFi and Fantasy Art: Dance to forget yourself...

This one was inspired by Sirrah's (not very famous doom-metal band) song 'Pillbox impressions (slave to her lair)'. After a usual guitar roaring there is a beautiful melody played on viola. So I imagined Her. She is dancing around the fire the Eternal Dance of Life&Death... this isn't only a dance, but sacrifice. She will disappear, go into many small shining stars. She knows it, but she isn't afraid of death. This won't be death. She will be reborn in thousands of forest spirits...

I think this is my favorite of your blue ink drawings. I love the motion you have captured here. Maybe you could get rid of the grid lines? Just a thought.

y'know. normally I would notice the gridlines like they jumped out at me but here they seem part of the picture. Actually, I kinda like the empty corner exposing the gridlines (call me weird, I know I am), gives a feel of uncompleteness that doesn't detract. Beautiful inking as usual. Closing my eyes I can just visualize her dancing, swaying, gracefully...

I really love it... the color is good for the picture... and i can imagine her dancing around too... i didn't notice the grade thingy until somebody opened their big mouth, but it doesn't really look bad being there... it makes it look cool...

Looks cool. Kind of reminds me of the Ice queen. Man I miss the cold. its 75 out. too worm. The daring is well ya. It speaks for it self. Reminds me of the Wisconsin's winters by lake Michigan. I also like metal. The band must be very good to inspier that.

I do that a lot ya know? Cause dancing is extreme fun! But no, the picture is awesome, and the whole kind of nonexistance of it is great.
