Hi there! I'm 17 years old metal-hippie from Russia. Many people think that hippie can't be combined with hevy metal, but I manaf=ged to do it. I mixed harmony of hippie and power of metal... the results are not so bad, you can see it. I draw since I remember myself. I draw everything that comes to my mind, almost everywhere with everything that leaves a trace on a paper ;). The images appear from nowhere, sometimes it's enough for me to close my eyes to see something I want to draw. Maybe that's why I draw anywhere and my favourite tool is a ballpoint pen. I draw on back pages of my school copy-books, pieces of paper, note-papers on floppies... almost everywhere. Sometimes I complete the art-work, but more often the sketches are put to my 'gallery' (a big candy box with beautiful flowers on it :) and lie there until I find them again and decide to make some art-work. What inspires me? First - MUSIC. I like gothic-, doom-, black- and power-metal, and I like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen, Janis Joplin, some russian rock-bands. Of course, pictures inspired, for examole, by Satarial and Pink Floyd are rather different, but you can't always say exactly, what inspired it. Sometimes even gothic makes me think about light and aethereal things... everything depends on me. And the main source of inspiration for me is LIFE as it goes. Everything that happens with me and people around me, every person I meet, any changes around, snow and rain, day and night - everything reflects in my eyes and leaves some trace in my heart. So my images are my thoughts, feelings, laugh and tears, fear and love... Try to think of them in this way. When I was 11 years old, I suddenly decided that drawing is what I aws made for. I entered the art-school then. Now I'm 17 and I keep studying there. And I'm going to enter the Art-Industrial Academy in Saint-Petersburg. I want to be a designer or something like that.. anyway my future profession will be related to art. I'll do my best if I'll do what I like... I've already chosen my way! Peace on Earth.
