SciFi and Fantasy Art: THOR AND THE SNAKE OF MIDGARD

At the final battle between the gods of Valhala and the giants, which announced the end of the world, the god of thunder fought against an old enemy. Thor was able to kill the snake of Midgard, but the last one had breathed out so much poison, that Thor died after a while.

22 Aug 2005	...	Loading... thor killed the midguard serpent(who is wrapped around the earth) but the serpent BITE him and the poison from the FANGS killed him. they're old time buddies those two = )

21 Jan 2008	Damien Caine	Loading... Acid? No, its venom, Thor takes 3 steps after the battle and dies from the venom. I’m thinking that you may be thinking of the movie Alien. Though, as I said before, THAT battle comes after the one depicted here. Thor lives through this battle.
13 May 2008	Thor	Loading... thor kills the midgard serpent with one blow and the blood splatters him. the blood is acid and thor takes 9 steps and drops dead. read your edda’s. the poetic edda is a good place to start
