SciFi and Fantasy Art: Mommy Witch....Amanda Awbrey

If you read Amanda's comment to me under Wicca...you can see where the idea came from....but it wasn't until I saw Amanda's gallery that I decided to attempt this....I haven't done any rendering in a while so this was a lot harder than it usually is for me....so, hopefully someone will think it looks like Amanda.....hopefully, at least, Amanda herself will!!! I had wanted to have her with her son but this was hard for me so I'm waiting to recover then may try one with her son!

Just one thing: it may have been even better, if the face wasn't floating completely on its own, but if it was attached to the neck and shoulders, even if they start to blend with the background. As it is, it looks as if she has been beheaded. But that's only my opinion, for what it's worth. The proportions and the construction of the face, are so accurate and precise... Terrific artwork.
