SciFi and Fantasy Art: Mommy Witch....Amanda Awbrey

If you read Amanda's comment to me under Wicca...you can see where the idea came from....but it wasn't until I saw Amanda's gallery that I decided to attempt this....I haven't done any rendering in a while so this was a lot harder than it usually is for me....so, hopefully someone will think it looks like Amanda.....hopefully, at least, Amanda herself will!!! I had wanted to have her with her son but this was hard for me so I'm waiting to recover then may try one with her son!

I like this pic a lot. The combination of the pure white face and a different background/hair simply seems facinating. Also, I like her eyes. Beatyful lady...

Soft, yet spiritually bold. This picture stood out from the others in your gallery. I'm not sure if it is because of the amazing technique you've used or if it's the beautifully etched portrait of a lost woman. Excellent work! Keep it up! Thanks for visiting my gallery by the way!

Hey, I LOVE Amanda Awbrey!! She's an awesome artist, and so are you, obviously! Great drawing.

Wow... I look forward to see another picture of her, with her son.
Just one thing: it may have been even better, if the face wasn't floating completely on its own, but if it was attached to the neck and shoulders, even if they start to blend with the background. As it is, it looks as if she has been beheaded. But that's only my opinion, for what it's worth. The proportions and the construction of the face, are so accurate and precise...
Terrific artwork.

I just came back to visit, I can't believe I looked like this. I have gained 20 pounds and have not one, but two lovely sons. I fear those lovely cheekbones are now hidden under lovely cheeks. LOL. You really did an amazing job on this. Brightest Blessings!

Nice portrait. She has a very interesting face and you capture it well.

I love the proportions, It has a slight comic style to it, which is my favorite form of drawing. The main drawing is very well done, congrats
