I have two sisters, and I'm right in the middle *g* I really like this one, a lot. It speaks of magic 12 Oh, and I love their hair, it's too cool.
Thanks for that...I'm the one on the right!

Or maybe make them nude in place of the dresses????

I just wonder if you KNEW I would have to opine on this one. The hands, the faces, the hair and orb are so powerful and dynamic, it DOES need the simplicity of the dresses and background to suceed! MAYBE only take away a small amount from the top, and darken the area behind and at bottom of dresses to "anchor" them? I believe this is one that deserves to be painted on canvas, maybe in 30 x 40!Would make me a wonderful Christmas gift! lol
Thanks mom...if I thought I could reproduce this on canvas I would...how bout YOU paint it for me for a Christmas gift!!!?

What I love most about this piece is the sence of uncertainty. It looks as if the Witches are somewhat affraid of the orb. Are they controlling it, or is it controlling them? The witch in the middle seems to be the most careful and sceptical, while the others show a bit more curiousity. Excellent!
Thank you for that and you know what struck me about your comment is that these figures represent me and my sisters and the one in the middle WOULD be the most skeptical....I love that!

This is great! Maybe what you think is missing is the swirling of the wind? Or the moon or something like a cauldron under the orb with bats coming up out of it or something.

Wonderful wonderful, nothing need be added! I like the flow of this one. The hair kinda reminds me of something medusa-esque,and the three witches remind me of the fates (you know, from greek myths and such?)

Maybe the thing that's missing is the separation of clothes and skin... just kidding. Interesting piece; moody.
