SciFi and Fantasy Art: New York Faery

Because I finished her at this unforgettable time in America, I put her where she is needed most. Maybe an angel would be more effective but so too did their fantastical imaginations go down with them. So...because I didn't know what she was looking at after I drew her...now I have an idea. She is for my brothers and sisters in New York.

This is wonderful! I love the glowing color outlining her. She looks curious but at the same time afraid. Maybe horrified.

This is exquisite! She has an almost neon glow. I'm utterly impressed. What an incredible picture. I think that this one is my current favorite in your gallery. The poignant expression speaks volumes. I'd love to use this picture on my "Elfwood Sampler" tour, with your kind permission.

I really like her expression...To me it captures the anguish that many felt on that day. The fantastic color in her wings make me think of a crazy flow of emotions. She seems translucent to me, that i like as well.

I love the facial detail! Just beautiful!!! Very touching picture for our lost countrymen and women.

Holy cow! Woman, don't change a thing! I love it, absolutely love it. I've ne'er seen anything like it! I hope you don't mind, I want to copy it and use it. I'm just having a little trouble drawing my nudes at that angle. I really love it.Thanks.

Usually I don't compliment people's art, mainly because I'm not a big fan of anime, or anything of really contemporary style. For you I will make an exception. I've spent hours a day critiquing people's art work and I've seen a lot of it, but nothing quite like this. What attracts me most is the color, yeah the faery is nice and what not, but I like the color of the outline against the black. That's good, simply put.
