SciFi and Fantasy Art: Black Skull

I trained painting with shadows and with my own Skeleton at home i think i was able to paint this quite realistic.

First of all: Willkommen in Elfwood.;-) And then... *sighs* Have to confess that I really like skulls... I mean, under our skin we're all happy people, are't we? Always smiling.... anyway, that drawing is cool, especially the right side. The shadows come out really great.

Looks real nice, like the different shading of the two side. Is it coal? Keep up painting, you have the talent!

I have now looked at several of your pieces and you use your materials brilliantly! Most people (me included) could only get the same effect using much more orthodox, mainstream materials but your stuff is all brilliant! I love your work!
