| 10 Apr 2001 | John (Hui) Li | Yeah, I have that effect on people. Whenever someone gets around me (or even a picture I draw) they go blank in the head. I think there's probably some way I can market this... or at least take over the world, or something constructive so my dad will stop biiiittching about my job not being good enough ;-) | |
| 3 Apr 2002 | Miss Shannon Snow | Oooo... awesome sketches... I like the wood spirit best! | |
| 19 Sep 2002 | Amanda 'Mesingkoa' S. Booher | I like your work a lot, it's very magical, and soft. You have a great sense of Beauty, and a open mind about fantasy. Your sketches are well done, the shading is tight and free both... Overall, I am actually a little jealous. Kristin Luoma replies: "Thank you, it's usually me who is jealous" | |
| 31 Oct 2002 | Rosemary Jennifer Wong | First off thanks for commenting in my gallery Anyhoo now for the comment in here wow pretty diverse gallery that's a good thing. I really like the inanimates (swords and staffs and the like) I'm usually horrible at drawing those so kudos to you Good shading work and colour is nice too. What I'd really like to see you do is integrate all these elements you have up in the gallery separately at the moment into a whole image. Maybe also work on backgrounds as well..I only see one picture with one - tyey tend to bring an image fully to life, even if some sort of plain backdrop would work. Also try working on proportions (everyone needs to practice that...myself included ) Anyhoo good work on your gallery. Keep up the good work Kristin Luoma replies: "Thank you, I really appreciate the comment. You mentioned most of the things I really need to work on. As far as proportions, I'm always working on that. I used to be brave enough to draw pictures, scenes but I guess since they don't always come out as I'd like, I don't. I also have little patience so when I'm finished the main piece of a picture I just lose the motivation to make anything elaborate. I would someday like to work on that though, it's among my list of needs improvement." | |
| 26 Nov 2002 | Elizabeth Holst May | Hi! Thanks for your comment and sorry I took so long commenting back. Have you ever thought of designing jewelery? You have ... "the touch"... | |
| 9 Dec 2002 | Amanda 'Mesingkoa' S. Booher | Just wonderful. I still think your wands are just amazing... Kristin Luoma replies: "Thank you. I think that could be why I like to draw them so much." | |
| 9 Feb 2003 | Patrick R. Derksen | Wow, it's been AGES since I've come to see your gallery. You've improved a lot! Reading your response in the earlier comment, I know exactly how you feel: how you finish the main part of the drawing, and are then too impatient/lazy to draw backgrounds and such. So I can sympathize. : ) Kristin Luoma replies: "I appreciate all the comments too. It's really cool when I haven't drawn in a while, and start again to find that I've improved. It's even cooler when I post those pictures and get encouraging comments like you've given me. Thank you " | |
