SciFi and Fantasy Art: Dragon Head Sketch

This is just a possibility of a head design for a creature my friend and I created. It's supposed to be a cross between some kind of dragon (have yet to figure that out) and a phoenix. I just decided to doodle this one night and it came out rather well. Again, I have no knowledge of anatomy so I just stuck lines where they looked nice. A couple look awkward now that I think about it, but oh well. Done with .5 mechanical pencil.

Wow. Really great. I like the shadowing on this picture, and the details. You should colour it, really. That would be so great. If it's a dragon/phoenix cross, the colours could be green and red. Two very beautiful colours. Very nifty. Or you could ink it just in black, or maybe blue ink? But, hey, I like it in b/w too. Great pic.

Amazing. This dragon is truely beautiful -- gentle in a sort of way, as if he would let children ride upon his back. I love it!!! I'd like to see more sketches of this handsome fellow! ^_^

Very nice. Could be a little darker though. It would be more striking that way......
