SciFi and Fantasy Art: Poseidon's Horse

This is... well, not old, but I did it back in seventh grade. It was an extra credit project for Social Studies, and I did a poster on Creatures of the Past. This is the bottom right hand corner, depicting Poseidon's Horse rearing up out of the surf. This is pretty much the only decent horse I've ever drawn. Screw the water, it doesn't look right, I just like the mane... =) If you care, I ended up with 10 extra credit points from the poster... o.O

24 Sep 2000	Cecilie Larsen	Loading... Another great picture! I just love horse pictures, but I couldn't draw a decent horse even if my life depended on it. Your picture is great though. I really like it. The gentle blue colours adds something to the picture, a kind of softness, that makes the horse look friendly but maybe a bit shy.
24 Sep 2000	Laken M. Renick	Loading... AWWW! This horse is soooo cute! It reminds me of the Pegasos I draw in Geometry class, especially the mane. The coloring is great as well, and don't feel bad -- I'm not good with drawing water, either.
