SciFi and Fantasy Art: Going berserk

This is a character sketch for AD&D. I totally failed to get the background right and somehow made the man look like a giant, which is great!

actually the first time I saw this it made me think that he's on a hill. That would be a good reason on why you messed up on the mountains. looks better on a hill than on a flat surface. Anyway what's wrong with impaled hea--oh nevermind

very nice picture! i love how casual it looks... the cold morning (that not many of us, peaole, or any other animal for that matter, don't expirience much these days..)a guy wakes up from his sleep.. "Argh! nothing like a good strech in the morning.." and goes on to his daily hunting... very nice... i also like your work on the shadows and the trees in the back look simly wonderful! great work!

it looks like he's a giant because you dont see the feet. If the feet were there closer to the bottom it would just look like an ants perspective. Anyway it is awesome.

Try Raising The Back-Ground And Make A Far More Dramatic Decrease In The Trees Size From Fore-Ground To Back-Ground... Also Try Shading The Character Of Which The Drawing Was Made For In Order To Get The Effect You Wanted. Please Respond.

:-) Bruno Krippahl replies: "That would work. Thanks Zombie."

i love that you took into consideration that if he lived in the wild like that his hair would look all dread lockey xD
