SciFi and Fantasy Art: Spike

Meet Spike (this is not his real name, i know this because he can´t say 'Spike', you know, having no lips and all...). This started as a rough sketch, but i got enthusiastic about it and so it got a bit more refined. The spike legs are used as weapons, the beast dives hard and stabs the victim. After that there is a lot of biting and chewing and gutting, really nasty stuff.

22 May 2007	Nathaniel S. Weaver	Loading... This looks like something my friend would draw if he was a hybrid of himself and another friend i know. Keep up the awesome work! The wings are great, the mouth is kinda wierd compared to the rest of the body in my opinion though.

This monster would make a great foe, probably under the deamon catagory somewhere in lower hell along the lake of fire. Anyway, very good drawing and great imagination. Congrats on Mod's choice!
17 Oct 2007	Dustin T. Inkster	Loading... I love this picture. What I find interesting is how you can see the tooth of the paper and the stroke of the pencil but there are no imperfections. No eraser marks, construction lines etc. Your control must be amazing. Congratulations on mods choice.

16 Dec 2007	Matt	Loading... Hmm.. The commenter "anonymous" does have a point. If you became famous, and art critics looked at this piece, they would definitely call that tongue at the belt buckle an obvious *** symbol. Other than that, I think this piece is fantastic.
