SciFi and Fantasy Art: Dragon Scales

Yay! First comment dance! This picture Kicks! It wont let me say what though, but it does! The scales are amazing! And I love the color and shine! YOU ROCK!

It's okay. You're getting the hang of it, but you should look at sites with real dragon pictures! It might help you get a better look at how pros do it, and might help you be a better artist(no offense). I mean you draw way better than me!

I love this picture and I wouldnt change a thing its beautiful. Whoever said you should look at "real dragon" pictures is out to lunch! This is you interpertation there is no right or wrong in art its your own creation from your mind. Besides... dragons are fantasy

Oh wow, this is really cool.
I've been trying out scales myself lately, it's hard ;^_^, but you've done an excellent job! The scales look very three-dimensional which is hard to do. In fact no aspect of the picture looks flat at all! Great job!

I love the blueness of this, not only is it a great shade of blue but everything being blue makes this very striking.

Dragons are fantasy and there is not certain way they are supposed to look, you can draw them however you want. I've seen so many different styles of dragons and that's one of the things that makes dragons so interesting to me. I just love seeing everyones different style.
If this isn't a "real dragon picture" than I have no idea what it is.
And speaking of really unique dragon styles you should take a look at Elfwood Artist Lisa 'Dragon' Behner's work, she has some of the coolest dragons, I've never seen anything like them.

Anyway, great job. I just love this, it's very inspiring.
