SciFi and Fantasy Art: Mother of the World

I suddenly had the urge to pick up a pencil and doodle. The doodling soon turned into a serious effort. Even though I seemed to be drawing pictures with someone very sad in them, I have been quite happy. Go figure. :) Even though life can be really depressing at times, I believe that there is always some higher power out there watching over us and sending their love. Smiling down on us trying to make us smile. Whether you agree with me or not I hope you like the pic. :)

Symbolic, ins't it. There is no misery which we couldn't get over. Good effort!

I love it! A wonderful potrayal of a mother looking out for her children... this particular mother apparantly has many! ^_^ I love the scrying bubble. Very cool!

It really is a great pic, and you've done a good job drawing it - but there's one thing I mentioned: I think her arms are a bit too thin, aren't they? That could be better, I think.

Acutally you are right. Unfortunately, I didn't notice until after I had it posted up...and at that point I am just too lazy to fix it. But then again...I used to know a girl whose upper arm I could put my pinky and thumb around and the ends of them would touch...now THAT is thin.

This is probably the only of your pictures that is acceptable as a human portrait.
