| 15 Sep 2005 | Anonymous | i would just like to add my life story to this forum. My best friend is a southern baptist (only on sundays) and her dad is a well known minister. And according to his personal beliefs if he expects wiccans to come to a church service he would join them in a ritual (i've only just stared thinking about converting and claim to know nothing) But i really just think that whatever yer religion its how you see and practice that matters, not what other people think | |
| 10 Oct 2005 | Phaele Jynx Moonstone | I hate it being as common as it seems to be, but I, too am Wiccan and simply put, you all should do your bloody homework. I've been a witch since I am eight years old, and now i'm 26. I love my religion but i'm not going on to babble about how "wikan" i am. Or how much this picture looks like my relatives because THAT'S NOT WICCA. Farewell, Merry Part, whatever. Phaele Jynx Moonstone | |
| 11 Oct 2005 | EaTmE | everyone just STFU about God, Witches, Wicca, Nature, and blah blah blah flibbity jibbity!!!!!!!!! it is a simple, and very good pic of a witch! We do not need drawn into one of these "Im smarter/holier than thou" wannabe arguments that the most of you spend BS'ing on stupid little chatrooms trying to spread your disease! So what if one person is christian, so what if one person is wiccan. It does not matter!!!!!!!! SO~ do not let off all your pent up stand points how one belief is right, and the other is wrong. To all the prior posts above, and to the "much needed" ones to follow - *** NO 1 belief is "close minded", NO 1 belief is "evil" or "harmful" NO 1 belief is superior or inferior to any other one. Live what you believe, stand up for it, and only change if you really personally feel like you must. DO not tell one person or another: "he or she must be like me or they are wrong". LET THESE ROOMS TO THE DRAWINGS AND THE ARTISTS WHO CREATED THEM. Final warning. | |
| 21 Dec 2005 | Another Witch. Whee. | ...o.o Are her eyes completely black or just really dark? And her cheekbones are kinda...stark. Then again, it's kind of late and I'm becoming a perfectionist. SO! All in all, it is a lovely drawing... And...Yes...Some witches dress like that. >>; It's fun. *Pout* Meanie heads making a big fuss of it all. And the cat slinking around her legs is so cute. Nice work love, keep it up. | |
| 17 Jan 2006 | Kalystaa <kalystaa@hot...com> | So many morons have commented here. Let's get something straight. You CAN BE AN EVIL WITCH. THERE ARE EVIL WITCHES. Magic is neither good nor bad, it's just a tool people can put to use. Witchcraft is not a religion, it is the use of magic and therefor should have no evil or good stigma attached. WICCA is a religion, a good religion wherein the witches are good. Not All Witches Are Good like those that are Wiccans. So, people, shut up about "Witches can't be evil" and "You make witches look bad", cause some witches ARE bad, some even DO dress like this. Just because you don't personally doesn't mean they don't exist. | |
| 3 Feb 2006 | Anonymous | What the heck is wrong with you people, I've seen many, many, pictures of witches on elfwood and for some reason you want to pick on this one. I am wiccan myself, but I love pictures of witches like this, it's beautiful. I'm hurt that wiccans would make some of the comments that are here no wonder people think we are weird. | |
| 12 Feb 2006 | Altus ni Tiordan | First allow me to comment of the art; quite good. It has a certain primal appeal, whether it is 'historically accurate' or not.
Now, as far as the 'chaos of comments' are concerned; Hush, little children. As a witch, Kristina has every right to express herself in the manner of her choosing. You misrepresent yourself and the Way by chiding her choice of expression. Whether part of a coven or a solitary witch, we all have the right, granted by our own divinity, to do as thou wilt, so it harm no other. No harm has come to any of you by her art. Be at peace, respect her, and continue on your own Way. Kristina, while this piece of art does exhibit some stereotypical (and perhaps not entirely accurate) attire, it is well done. As a matter of fact, my other half is fond of this type of clothing, and finds it liberating and empowering to dress as such, on occasion. Be well, and I wish you all the best. | |
