SciFi and Fantasy Art: Happy Bride

Another quick sketch that I did at work a few years ago (ie: be gentle)... The lines from the paper were digitally removed. The inspiration came from a photographic catalogue. She is a medieval bride, complete with flowery headdress (though I'm aware I overworked it and it's hard to see!!!).

Original Size: 2 x 3 inches.

Pen... the pen is my bane in art. It's good for me when sketching, but... whenever I am trying to draw something that looks good, I end up ruining it! 1

Nah, michael, I have to disagree. I think that pen (to me) is the ultimate in drawing. No going back once you made a mistake! It is the best learning tool, if you want to learn to ignore mistakes, and make the best of them in a pic...(btw - John, nice pic!)

I really like this woman, she dosen't have the etherial, never-gonna-happen-in-real-life look that you see on so many artists' pages. She's real, and I think you've done a marvelous job.
