SciFi and Fantasy Art: Phase Shift

Not particularly imaginative on my part, more just continued practice. Sketched and inked in '04, I think (except for a couple tiny details today); colored (color pencil) September '05. Quickie Photoshop level adjustment to see if I could get it closer to the original. I think I need to scan a lot in short order, and figure out what the deal is with the scanner; it's not picking up blues all that well, or perhaps overpicking up reds.
