SciFi and Fantasy Art: Saw What?

Actually, I think this is a burrowing owl, not a saw whet, but I couldn't resist the title. And indeed, he does seem sufficiently skeptical of just about anything...

I screwed up the hat, though. Didn't realize it until too late.

Watercolors on cold press ACEO paper from Ellen Million. Original is 2.5 x 3.5 inches. Signed on the front in lower right. I like this paper! Yum. A really quick piece, because everything is practice.
