SciFi and Fantasy Art: Sancta

This is Sancta, she's a gargie. Her design and backstory came to me in a dream (literally!) She lives in (and its her duty to protect) an abby somewhere in the mountains of Europe. She was raised by the nuns there. She's even an adopted member of the order. Aside from that I'm not to sure, my dreams always seem to go fuzzy in parts ;)

Hey! lol, I was just searcing for some pics of faces, when I read the 'raised by nuns' (not that thats a bad thing) I thought "oh, another one of these" lol, but I got a suprise when I saw the pic, dont'ya just love gargies (as you so charmingly put it)!!! Anyway, Im blabbing on soo.... P.S. thats a really neat origional pic! Love it!

7 Aug 2003	Anonymous	Loading... I think it is very nice to see a fem gargoyle that has something other then a humanoid face, it always bugged me that the females faces all looked alike. I mean there Gargoyles! talk about a huge amount of variation to work with. 2 thumbs up for both a great piece of art and for breaking out of the stereotype ^_^
