| 10 Jun 1999 | ladymysti | You vaguely remember drifting off into slumber, slowly
you open your eyes and find yourself in a different
place. Everything is peaceful, quiet. The fog giving
it a cooling, soothing feel. It is like all are in
slumber while you walk in wake, the excitement yet the
tinge of loneliness. | |
| 13 Sep 1999 | Amy Mackey | I really love this picture, Its perfect.. | |
| 3 Sep 2000 | Caer Caradoc | This painting is wonderful, melancholy and lonely but enjoying it as well. My only problem is that I don't like the hut. To me it doesn't fit in with the style or mood. Maybe a small stone barn or something. | |
| 2 Nov 2000 | Elven Angel | Oooh. Yes, it's so serene... but the barn is.. tacky? I dunno.
Maybe it's the boards.. I don't think that from this distance, we'd be able to see the cracks between the wooden planks this well, or that they'd appear pitch black.
Also, it's weird that it's standing right *on* the horizon and in front of the fog.. but that's okay. | |
| 6 Oct 2001 | Dewald Malan | Awesome I love landscapes!!!!! Your clouds are brilliant!!!!! | |
| 2 Jun 2004 | ArtFan | This is by far my favorite piece in your gallery. The clouds are very well done and the color tone and mood of the piece are perfect. The vague, misty style that you used creates very pensive and solitary mood. I would love to see more landscapes in your gallery. My only suggestion is to make the shack/house of the same style as the rest of the painting. While you use the vague style for most of the piece, the house seems to be a heavy lines and straight edge kind of job. Otherwise the piece is gorgeous. | |
