| 30 Dec 2000 | Elizabeth | Oh wow Joel...this pic is amazing! I just love the way he blends into whatever he's conjuring.....This pic really represents the feelings toward necromancy well. I'd say steer clear of the colored version...the black and white is perfect. | |
| 21 Feb 2001 | Elizabeth J. Draus | ooh, this is fun.. I like this portrayal of necromancy, and the stark contrast of the black and white is all you need--don't worry about the colored one. <grins> Also, the hands really caught my attention--I like the otherworldly affect there. | |
| 11 Mar 2001 | NOV8 | I WAS LOOKING FOR A DRAWING THAT I COULD USE FOR A TATTOO I STOPPED BY THIS ONE AND I REALLY LIKED IT.
SO NOW YOU KNOW THAT I HAVE YOUR DRAWING ON MY SHOULDER !! | |
| 26 May 2001 | SylverMidnyght <SylverMidny | mwahahaha....I like this one! i like the way he has that devilish grin, (the goatee is a nice touch for that!) and i like the way there are stretched, "dead" faces behind him...and how his hands are distinctly skeleton...and i like your lil description...a trip into the psyche, very nice! i adore the way the robe and the spirits "flow"....a very thought provoking piece! ~*~SM~*~ | |
| 4 Sep 2001 | Renee Rossi | Mannnn... this is perfect, the mixture of intoxicating power and the subversion that it brings... the result of working with the dead as allies.... you express it here. Amazing. | |
| 25 Nov 2001 | Mark J. Goff | Awsome I love the hands and tales you tell with the picture. | |
| 10 Jul 2002 | Madd Hatter | Fantastic. Absolutly amazing, the black and white would have been better anyway (*Saw the reply up above*)....The only bad thing is that the lines should have been darker, maybe us a darker pencil, or a thicker one.....oh well, good job....if it's alright with you, and please email me an answer, i think i might like to use this for a profile pic for one of my characters on msn.... | |
| 11 Oct 2002 | Jeanette vogel | That one cought my attention! Really nice composition and amazing skill! I love the details and his hands! Very cool effect! He'd do fine with my necromancer-girl! ^___^

| 8 Apr 2003 | Anon. | *drools* He's sexy... Evil guys always seem to be. I don't know, maybe it's just me. Anyway, very, -very- nice. I -love- it. Nice shading. I'm gonna print it and put it up on my wall. Hehe. ^_^ *scampers off to see what else there is* | |
| 16 Aug 2006 | Fabled_forever | Very nice... one thing to make it better. If you we're to redraw this one you should add an undead thing in the foreground being risen. It would real complete the picture and the unbalance toward the front would complement the shading (so my teacher would scowled me for that unbalance is supposed to be bad but in the case I think it would work). as a whole its a great pic and colouring it would be quite a challenge. I hope your up to it! | |
