| 4 Sep 2004 | Pokoa | Ah so you want a crit huh? (i know, elfwood isnt so much of a constructive critic enviroment, i guess it supposed to be a place for finished work...)
only thing i can add is that her super bulgeous hip is a little bit wonky and could maybe have more shadow to define its shape.(wow me got good english) and the hatching on her right arm is inconsistant with the rest, its too hatchy!
30 minutes? Wow! (my page is quite old work...) | |
| 4 Sep 2004 | Madzia Bryll | No, thank YOU. Looking through your gallery forced me into that kind of jealousy that can only result in improvement. And your stuff reminds me of Regis Loisel. I adore Regis Loisel. I won't say I adore you because that's a bit over the top, but you sure got me drooling. Daniel Daya Landerman replies: "AH HA HA! I made somebody drool! Heh heh... i have to be honest, i don't know this Regis you speak of, but I'll certainly look him up. I'm glad I could inspire you to push yourself. Gotta spread the love, as I have gotten the same feeling from so many others. Gratzi" | |
| 4 Sep 2004 | Chantal El-Bikai | holy salamander! this is amazinggggg!!!! i love it, she looks so much like a real woman!...*dispite the cat-ness...* i love this! its just jaw dropping! O.O Daniel Daya Landerman replies: "why, thank you Chantal ;p" | |
| 4 Sep 2004 | Pokoa | Her stance is really great, nice movement! And i love the piercing look on her face, shes sexy and looks really cool, i mean, she looks like shes got a cool personality! And you coloring is awsome too! Maybe add a little more details to her hair? Daniel Daya Landerman replies: "o.O a crit!? On elfwood!? Steph how could you!!!? Heh heh, messin' with ya. I wish more people would crit here. Of course I appreciate the compliments, but seriously, nobody grows from praise. Anywho, yeah, i agree about the hair... but this was a 30 minute sketch, so I didn't detail everything. I wanted there to be some simple blocks of color. I guess if this were a finished piece, I would've detailed it out more, but not too much ;p Thanks hon, for the crit I mean. Good example for the others. CRIT MORE!" | |
| 4 Sep 2004 | R.A. Parslow | Amazing... people talk about "natural" form, I think you've really captured that in this image. Bravo! Incredible posture, composition, coloring. I love it! Daniel Daya Landerman replies: "heh heh... all curves baby!" | |
| 14 Sep 2005 | Tom Wooly | Ur pictures r good but quite creepy | |
| 12 Apr 2006 | Casey Rae Vange | I'm actually revisiting your gallery after several years--I'd had your page bookmarked for so long without ever coming back, but here I am and I remember this picture from whenever it was that I first saw it, and its still amazing to me. I love the movement, the pose, the cautious expression, and her beautiful features. I love the color scheme and the design of a new race, even her knife...someday, hopefully, I'll get myself some copics and work at being this skilled with them! Honestly, its a wonderful coloring job, and the anatomy is great...I'm actually trying to make my own human anatomy look more fluid, as it's often too stiff, so this will help me. Great job! | |
| 14 Jan 2007 | Anne Wipf | And beautiful again. | |
| 3 Aug 2007 | Rashad | I love your sense of motion in these pictures. And I also love how you've captured the human body so well...they have so much character! Your art really inspired me to pick up 2 books on anatomy and they're working! Thanks lots homie! | |
