SciFi and Fantasy Art: Ten-no Katana: Hitokage

One of the main characters of the webcomic I'm working on. Good LORD, but this character is the biggest pain in the butt to get right. I've been trying for bishonen look, but I'm swiftly learning that its very hard to draw a beautiful guy. (hence the reason his eyes are closed) Anyway, Hitokage (or Hito-kun) might be Meian's best friend, but he very soon realizes who he was... (SPOILER SPOILER!) And can I just say something RIGHT now? The jewels were the BIGGEST pain in the butt to color! And the lightning? Oh, don't get me started. This panel will actually appear later in the comic. Just not now. ^_^

The lightning and the stones in the background were taken from FlamingText.com, a website where you can either create or take graphics to use on your website. I use them for text graphics a lot. Go check them out! (Helpful plug!)
