Aelin at this point is the imperial princess of Touyou, and, in order to protect her country's Oracle, she has to sneak out of the palace. Outside of the palace, this is what she wears. ^_^ Medival fantasy style outfit! Whee! (And the sword/sword belt was the biggest pain to draw properly.) Personally, I think Aelin wandered into the wrong part of town...
